I know it was something crazy like that i was REAAAL pissed off about since i didn't pirate it, and had it for so long and still on my drive that i didn't think i'd ever seen the key again(didn't plan on ever uninstalling it). I know this happened but i just can't remember if that was a bug or the anti piracy they put on it. I THINK but i can't remember perfectly but the main reason i had to reload it was because it had some anti-piracy programming on it where a enemy hero would become invulnerable and knock down all of your stuff and you couldn't kill him either, until you reloaded it with the key. Its stupid though since i had it on my harddrive for the LONGEST time since i would always play it again at some point, i'm talking years and years, and then one day something happens where i have to reload the game and i already threw away my cd key by that point :P Then i was hoping i could buy it from steam or anywhere with digital download but apparently i can't :P I've been meaning to buy it from Amazon but i keep forgetting. BME2 is one of my all time favorite underrated games next to Freelancer.
